"No Time, No Time"

I knelt to pray but not for long, I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer. No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord, I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"

What is life without YOU!

I could not imagine how could I will be like this without you. Ever since in my life, I am always thinking "What if you are not there beside me, will I survive?". I feel ashamed because for the things I had asked, then you gave it to me, and for all those things sometimes I forgot to say "Thanks!". Ohh, how I feel bad, and I feel sorry. Sometimes I can only remember you when I got troubles and problems. And yes, you are there, offering help and never close your door. You are always there listening me confessing all my troubles. Why, you did not let me think of you when I am not in trouble, when I am happy? Because what I want is to share it with you. Why is it that you are always silent when I am fine. And me, myself, why is it I do not remember you?. Tell me, Am I bad enough to do this to you?.

O Lord, I am thankful because despite of my being annoy, you are always there for me. You always extend your arms for me. I am sorry if sometimes I got problem, and then I cant cannot hold myself but to blame you. I am really sorry. I am just a man.

Lord GOD, Thank you for all the things you give to me. And I hope you will never leave me. And always guide me in everything.

Feel I am losing.......

Today, I really feel that I am losing some of my friends. Why is it like this? I feel sad, I dont want to lose them. Why is it that they are always leaving me? Am I not good?

Today is my Graduation Day

Today, I finally graduate in my Bachelors Degree and after this, I dont know what to do. I think I should fine job and support myself because I am planning to get a masteral. I hope I can do this.


May GOD always bless me... I cant live without GOD in me...
And I want to thank you GOD for helping me all in my problem in College. Though I dont see you but I feel you and I know you help me a lot... And Thank you for my Parents who are always there for me to support in everthing. Thanks for joining me in crying when I have a problem in my school ( I know this sound funny but its true they joined me, especially my mother). And also, Thank you to all my friends. And finally thank you to my far away friend (Nathan Wolfe) to serve as one of my inspiration. You are one of a good example of a strong man. You teach me how to be strong. Thanks for everything, though we dont see each other but you help me a lot, lot, lot and lot... Thanks for being there... I will be STRONG too. You are all the people behind in all my success.... The Foundation day!

It was a very bright day. The sun shines at 5:47 in the morning. I left in the house at 7:15 am. As I came in the school, there I saw students fall in line according by course. The parade started at exactly 8:00 oclock in the morning.It was leaded by the City's Drum Corps, then next were Reserve Officer Training Corps, followed by the Midwifery Department, then Department of Office Administration, then Education and Commerce, then AB department and Computer Department where I belong. And the faculty and staff as the second to the last which is the School's Drum Corps. I got really hard to get along my group because its so crowded. And it was also the parade of the Miss Charter Queen Aniversary and Miss ADTC Foundation. As we go through the city, students broke their lines. It is because the sun is really hot although it is still in the morning. I dont know why the sun shine so wild this day.

During the parade, as we came along the Rizal's Statue, department officers gave an attendance slip to those who is in the line. This slip will be one of the requirements for the final clearance and whoever lost or have no slip will have a fines of Php 20. This is done to make the students participate every activities the school will have. When it is done, we get in the GYM, where proper foundation program start. The master of the ceremony was my teacher-friends, Dr. Bonifacio L. Loquias Jr. and Mrs. Maricelle M. Nueva. "Today is our 23rd Foundation Day" They said.... and so on and so on.... After the welcome address by the City Mayor, a farewell walk by the last year's Queen, then a coronation for this year's Queen and runner ups... The emcee said "Congratulaions for all of you". Then their comes many photographers who wish to get a photo of each of them who were crown. To be continued....

The day!

Valentines Day is already passed but I still dont see my valentino....hahahaha... But its ok, Just this afternoon I came from my friend's house because its her birthday.... We really had a very fun time.

Ohhh.... the blind date is really so fun... Imagine I was blid date to a gay.. owssss... he looks more girly compared to me... he was afraid of the lizard... ouch..... but anyways, its already a long time I did not update my blog. I am really very busy preparing some of my project, plus I got this problem in my AI subject because we are ask to make a computer game, and it should be submitted within this month, I really got no time, I doubt if I make it done this month, but I will try to talk to my instructor to give us extension... Hah.,,life of a students is really like this and like that. But we dont have any choice but to make this all done or else "GOODBYE" graduation.... heeheeheeheehee....

We have to struggle, struggle and struggle. Because its where are future start...

The Power of Faith

Do you know how much is the power of faith? Life is nothing without this couage, strength and most especially the faith. But what is faith without work. Some says I have faith in me. Yes, they have faith but whats the use for it if its only in the word. Faith is done with work. It is not enough  when we say "I have faith in GOD" but you did not do what GOD's want you to do. Its useless!

 

There are miracles happen especially to those people who are ill. Some says that "You were healed by your Faith" Do you hear such things like this? Yes, I hear things like this and believe it. Do you believe that man who is near to GOD is those who are test by nature and have many problems. This is because they are test how strong is his Faith. Some people when put in such situation, what they do is, they curse GOD, they blame HIM.

The Champion (Sinulog Festival) in Cebu City

I am really proud being a member of the Sinanduloy Cultural Troupe here in the Philippines because through this troupe the City earned many honors and many more. The troupe makes the City wellknown in the whole Philippines. Although, Tangub is the smallest City in the Phillippines..
Just this January 15, 2006, the troupe bags one million pesos in winning the grand prize in "Sinulog Base Category" and also the "Best in Street Dancing" This is a dance competition held every third Sunday of January. This is done in honor to the Cebu's Patron "Sr. Santo Niño" the baby Jesus..
As a Tangubanons, it is a city's pride to be known as the best dance performers.... Most peoples said that, what was the technique of this troupe that in the stage they dance well, you cannot see any faults... I would like to thanks the people behind the success of this troupe, the support of the Tangubanons, both government workers and non-gevernment workers...
I hope that this will be the start of making the City shine thorugh the years..!!!!! Mabuhay ang Tangub City!!

What is Christmas for you all about? Christmas is one of my favorite time in the year. It makes me feel like I was in the time of Adam and Eve. Christmas means to me as sharing and loving.
This is the time to forget all the bad times or problems that you encounter this year. Leaving them all. The time to thank GOD that He gave us trials, for this trials make us strong and never give-up...

Human vs Computer

It seems obvious that despite 3 or 4 decades of research on Machine Learning, the ability of computers to learn is far inferior to that of humans.As a result it seems natural to choose as a goal for learning algorithms to match human performance.
However, is it really fair to compare computer learning with human learning? Or, more precisely, how should they be compared in order to have an objective assessment of their respective abilities?
Here are some remarks that one should have in mind before making such a comparison:
First of all, it is well known that, theoretically speaking, there is no better algorithm: if you look at all the possible problems, and compare any two algorithms, there will be exactly one half of the problems on which the first algorithm will do a better job than the second one. In other terms, there is no algorithm that systematically outperforms the other algorithms on all problems. It is thus pointless to compare learning algorithms in general.So in order to make a meaningful comparison, one should first select a limited number of problems of interest. The natural class of problems in our case would be to consider all the learning problems that humans are coping with: e.g. speech recognition, object recognition, motor learning...Having a list of such problems would make a reasonable benchmark on which learning algorithms could be evaluated and compared to human performance.
Of course, on all these tasks the algorithms we have built so far are unable to match (or in certain cases even get close to) human performance.Does it mean our algorithms are bad?I would tend to think rather the opposite: they are very good and much better than humans in many respects. In my opinion, the reason why they do not get good success rates on those problems that are trivially solved by humans is that they don't have access to the same information and they are not given the right "priors"
Human brains are genetically designed for solving certain types of learning problems. For example, there are plenty of hard wiring in the visual system that makes object recognition easy for humans.Also, for most "human learning" tasks, when we build a database of examples to be given to a computer, we only give a very limited amount of information to the computer. For example, when humans start to learn to recognize hand written characters, they already have a visual system that has been extensively trained to recognize all sorts of shapes. Imagine someone who has been blind from birth who suddenly recovers sight at the age of 6 and is directly put in front of handwritten characters on a screen, and asked to classify them. I would suspect that he would not get a better accuracy than existing learning algorithms.
A similar but more realistic example could be constructed as follows. Imagine you are presented with images of handwritten characters whose pixels have been shuffled in a deterministic way. For vector-based learning algorithms this would not make any difference (they would still get some good predictive accuracy), while for humans it would be completely impossible to reach any reasonable level of generalization.
Yet another example to illustrate the kind of task that computers are faced with is the spam classification. It is clear that humans are better at classifying spam vs non-spam emails. The reason is that they "understand" what the emails mean and this is because of years of language training. So now, imagine you are given 200 emails written in chineese among which 100 are spam and 100 non-spam. Do you think someone who has never had any training about chineese language would be able to reach the kind of generalization accuracy a computer would?
The examples above illustrate how little information computers have when they are faced with a supervised learning task. It seems reasonable to assume that humans faced with similar tasks would not be much better.
The above discussion aims at emphasizing the importance of "having the right prior". To some extent, building an algorithm essentially means designing a prior, and designing a prior can only be done with respect to a class of problems (there is no "universal" prior). Designing a prior (which also means choosing an appropriate representation of the data) actually allows to introduce a large amount of information into the learning algorithm. Most human learning tasks are tasks that require a lot of information and this is why computers usually fail on those.

The Halloween

Halloween is one  of another  busy days here in our place. During this time, we go to our granparents house. This is really what we did eveytime when this holiday come. Its a part of our culture that we will all went to our grandparents house. We did fun chats. And we watched movies.

 

During the night, we all agreed to watched a horror movie. Then there goes, we all break into hestirical shout... because everytime the ghost show in the screen it makes our skin feel cold like someone holding us. And we also feel that somewhere in the dark place there they are wating for us..... grrrrrrrr......... After the movie, we did some talk and chating about more horror movies. After that we all, its time to sleep but.... the problem is we all scared to sleep alone in our room. So, what we did was we all sleep in one room. Though it make us fit so much... And until out room, we still talking to what we have seen in the movie.... I think I fell asleep already past midnight........

My Happiest Moment with my Mother

Today, is Saturday. My mother has just arrived from my grandparents house.
Today, I consider it as the happiest moment with my mother. Why? Well, it is because its already been a long time that we hadnt given time to chit-chat with each other. Now, we are in the sala talking for my Kuya (means eldest brother), when my younger brother recall the past happy moments when we are still a kid, we all came up in a hard laughter.

Suddenly, our topic has change, and now we are exchanging joke stories and scenes. And we all die laughing. After more a half an hour my mother joined us. And she also make jokes. That was the first time I saw my mother laughing to hard that she even cry and said "Stop, I can hardly breath. My stomach is already aching." As I recall her voice covers all our voice when she laugh. She has the biggest voice of all. I can even see her throat enside..heeheehee.

Well, I hope that there will be another time for us be like this. And I really love it, talking to my parents, with my brother and sister...
